The Streaking Healys are composed of Steve Black, Aaron Despres, Kirk
Niese, and Micheal Trundy. Black's instruments include piano, guitar and
harmonica. He teamed up with long time friend Aaron Despres who provides
low end support as the bassist. Despres, of Harpswell played in bands
throughout college and graduate school. Their first collaboration, a rap song
written in the sixth grade did not make their first album but set the stage for a
lifetime of friendship and the core of The Streaking Healys. Lead guitarist
Michael Trundy of Bath has a background in blues and jazz. The drumming
was previously provided by Bruce Menz of Harpswell who has since left the
band. Kirk Niese of Pownal has since taken over drumming duties. Niese has
a broad musical background that includes playing in a midcoast area steel
drum band.
